"Here the nose is just starting to display some secondary nuances on the otherwise fresh and well-layered red and dark berry fruit aromas that also display plenty of earth influence. There is a lovely mouth feel to the refined middle weight flavors that possess an admirable amount of palate coating dry extract before culminating in a dusty and still quite firmly structured finish. Despite the elegance of the mid-palate, the finish is ever-so-mildly rustic though overall, this is really quite good and still on the way up." (91pts AM)
