Umi Dachlan, the most recognisable female artist from the Bandung School and a student of Sadali, focused on the exploration of colours, shapes and composition along with the spirituality of these elements. The present lot is a highly representative example from Umi Dachlan's body of works with the focus on texture. The layers of impastos form an elegant and meditative abstract landscape that reveals the belief in nature and existence.
烏米 ‧ 達赫蘭是萬隆學派最重要的女性藝術家及薩達利的學生，她持續探索顏色、形狀、構圖，及其中蘊含的精神意義。《紅色抽象與金、紫、青與藍色之片段》是達赫蘭著重在層次表達的經典作品，厚塗油彩的堆疊形成優雅而寧靜的抽象風景，傳遞達赫蘭對自然及生命的信仰。
