A Capodimonte cup and saucer, circa 1750

En suite with the previous lot, decorated a natura morta by Giovanni Caselli with scenes of native Neapolitan fruit on a naturalistic grassy base surrounded by clouds, the edge of the saucer and inside of the cup with elaborate gilt strapwork borders picked out with floral elements in Kakiemon style, the moulded fruit finial picked out in gold, fleur-de-lys mark in blue enamel to both (2)
