A counterfeit edition, printed in the same year as the first edition by Johannes Janssonius, with "some omissions and alterations to the text" (Löwendahl, who described it as "one of the most influential books in shaping the European conception of China in its day"). It includes material supplied by Michael Boym, Martino Martini and other missionaries.
