Long-guard rotary-underlever, side-clips, rebounding backlocks with bolted-hammers, percussion fences, the sides of the action and furniture with best foliate-scroll engraving, much hardening-colour, the well-figured stock with cheek-piece and steel butt-plate engraved Charge, 4 Drams No. 6 Powder, sling-eyes, the damascus barrels with matt sight-rib engraved J. Purdey, 314½ Oxford Street, London with open-sights for 50, 150 and 200 yards and bead-foresight
