Signed 'J.Cuff London Maker', of standard design with cruciform stage, upright column with six numbered focusing points corresponding to the six numbered objectives, spring slide holder with concave mirror below, on square mahogany base with drawer fitted with six objectives, lieberkuhn, stage forceps, live box, ivory talc box, tweezers and stage condenser, in oak pillar carrying case with shaped brass handle at the top, 13 ins (33cm) high
