Signed on the foot A. ROSS. LONDON 657, the bar-limb construction with graduated fine focus screw, rack and pinion course focusing, mechanical stage and rotating sub-stage condenser, with planar/concave mirror below on tripod stand in mahogany case with Ross 1 and 2 inch objectives, two further objectives unsigned, four oculars, analyser, polariser, two lieberkuhns, Gillett achromatic condenser, a Watson homogenius emmersion 1/12 inch objective and Watson condenser vertical illuminator, and other accessories, together with a box of microscope specimen slides, and key, the microscope 18 ins (46cm) high
