A Dollond brass compound monocular microscope, English, early 19th century,

signed Dollond London, rack and pinion focusing to the mechanical stage with plano/concave mirror below, raised on hinged joint above turned brass column and tripod base, in mahogany case with 1/2in objective, two oculars, frog plate, stage condenser and forceps, tweezers, love box and set of bone mounted slides, the microscope when erected 19in (48cm) high
