A George Adams senior semi-elliptical trammel, English, circa 1770,

signed Geo Adams Instt. maker of His MAJESTY Invenit, the green velvet lined mahogany case fitted with two brass limbs that slot together to form a T-shaped frame, engraved with scales in inches, a steel limb with engraved 9 inch scale and mounted at one end with a brass mounted sprung pen, two runners that travel along both limbs in a channel and a double paper pricker, the case 13 1/2in (34.3cm) wide
