The Downtown Gallery, New York.
Henry and Jeanette Markus Collection, Chicago, Illinois.
By descent to the present owner.

The present work is inscribed with King James' version of Psalm 133: 'Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for the brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head.... As the dew of Hermon and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.'
