Footnotes

Provenance: The Benney Family Private Collection

Simon Benney was trained by his Father Gerald Benney, by adding texture to his pieces he creates an illusion of depth and added colour by means of enamelling to highlight this detail. Whilst located at his showroom at Walton Street, London Simon created beakers in a wider range of coloured enamels than previous.
