A rare inscribed gold and silver-inlaid bronze bird finial

Warring States period
Gracefully cast as a recumbent bird head turned back, the curved beak resting on the body, inlaid in gold and silver with a geometric pattern that articulates the animal's plumage, all above a socket scattered with green encrustation. 9cm (3 1/2in) high
