註：
張維篤主教（1903-1982），本名張作峘，山東人，生前擔任信陽教區主教（Bishop Emeritus of Xinyang）、領銜賚斯畢府、息安尼主教（Titular Bishop of Cyanae）。1949年5月經香港赴台。1981年回中國大陸訪問，次年於德國去世。

題簽鈐印提及的「台北教區景美镇天主堂」，即今屬台北文山區的聖神堂，1953年12月竣工，因與景美僅一溪之隔，故稱景美天主堂。值得一提的是，「景美鎮」最初成立於1950年。1967年台北市改制為直轄市，「景美鎮」併入台北市，成為「景美區」。1990年，景美區與木柵區合併為「文山區」。因此，畫軸題簽之「景美鎮」的稱謂僅存在於1950年至1967年間。由此可知，此幅黃君璧畫作在1960年完成後不久便被保存在景美天主堂中。
