此篆書七言詩行筆靈動，書風清雅，為明代篆書風尚的體現，不似碑學興起之後篆書的沉著厚重。陳來，明末清初人，流傳作品甚少，畫史有傳，極簡短：「陳來，字宗來，江南人。善折枝花草，悉用勾勒設色。品行敦篤，與畫俱重。」
