A George III 18 carat gold and diamond-set pill box

by John Northam, London 1806
Rectangular, the cover with a central diamond-set script 'H' or Cyrillic 'N' monogram on a blue enamel ground under glass with plain gold frame and set on an engine-turned ground within a chased shell and foliate border, the sides and base with similar engine-turning and borders, length 4.2cm, weight all-in 36.4gms.
