A Louis XV Frommery-type enamel and silver mounted snuff box

maker's mark unclear, Paris 1754
Basket form with all-over red and yellow painted wicker work decoration, the cover with a central medallion painted in puce of cooing doves, with a reeded silver mount, length 6cm, together with an enamel and gilt metal mounted envelope form box, realistically modelled, addressed; "A Monsieur, Monsieur François Leopold de Hinderfad, presenté à Fribourg", length 8.5cm.
