A Frederick II Prussian 18th century walnut, ivory and mother of pearl inlaid and crossbanded commode
of arc-en-arbalète outline, the rosewood crossbanded top inlaid with a central armorial eagle including mother-of pearl, within a cartouche and with a pair of inlaid birds, the three long drawers with fruitwood crossbanding, inlaid throughout with ivory flowerheads and star motifs, on ebonised bun feet, 119cm wide, 65cm deep, 84cm high (46 1/2in wide, 25 1/2in deep, 33in high).
