A pair of Telescopes;

A single draw, 1.25ins.(3cm)diam, brass body telescope, with nickle-silver sun shade and draw tube. The shade engraved French Prize Mr.J.F.Knox HMS Britannia 1890. Together with a three draw, 1ins.(2.5cm)diam, brass telescope, with wood veneer body and brass dust cap. 2

Footnotes

HMS Britannia was a 121 gun screw ship of the Line, launched as HMS Prince of Wales in 1860. She was transferred in 1869 to the Royal Naval Training base at Dartmouth and renamed, serving as the Naval Officer's training ship until sold for breaking in 1916.
