A Minai overglaze-painted pottery Cup
Persia, 12th/ 13th Century

the bulbous body on a flared foot with cylindrical neck and strap handle, decorated in polychrome with a band of seated figures interspersed by palmette medallions with issuing tendrils terminating in split palmettes, the neck with a band of inscription in kufic
12 cm. high.
