Footnotes
Provenance: By decent from the previous owners of White Cottage.
Literature: 'C.F A Voysey an architect of individuality', by Duncan Simpson, London 1979 page 10, 91 and 150 discuss the commission of White Cottage at 68 Lyford Road in Wandsworth. The author notes that (as of 1979), the house remained in the ownership of the family for whom it was originally constructed. The vendor of this lot recalls living with the blanket box in situ until 1982 when the house was sold to new owners.
