The first of a toad seated in a typical attitude, its body curled slightly to the left and the eye pupils inlaid, signed Masanao, 4.5cm (1¾in); the second of a toad seated on a folded straw sandal, signed Masanao, 3.8cm (1½in); the third of a toad on a straw sandal, the eyes inlaid, signed Masaaki, 3.8cm (1½in); the fourth of a toad on an overturned well bucket, signed Masatada, 3.2cm (1¼in). (4).
