The first of a hossu (fly switch) curled over to form a compact composition, unsigned, 6.4cm (2½in); the second of various objects illustrating different occupations, including an axe and brushwood, a creel filled with shellfish, fruit and an itinerant vendor's box, signed in an irregular reserve Gyokuho, 3.8cm (1½in); the third of a hossu wrapped around the handle of a mokugyo, unsigned, 3.6cm (1 3/8in); the fourth of a kinchaku (purse) with an ojime and mask netsuke attached, signed Masatsugu, 4.2cm (1 5/8in); the fifth of a straw hat for a mendicant priest, unsigned, 4.5cm (1¾in).
