An ivory netsuke of a gaki (starving spirit)

The gaki sprawling over a large lotus leaf, holding a ladle and with his head turned to the left, bearing an agonized expression, the well-toned ivory slightly worn, signed in an oval reserve Masakazu. 4.8cm (1 7/8in).
