The male pup seated, wearing a knotted collar and resting one forepaw on a kemari (football), the slightly worn ivory is of a good colour, the hair work is lightly stained with sumi and the eyes are inlaid in dark horn, signed in a rectangular reserve Okatori. 4.2cm (1 5/8in).
