Three kagamibuta netsuke

19th century
Each bearing an ivory bowl and shibuichi plate, each decorated in iroe takazogan, the first cast in relief and inlaid with Daikoku, details in gold and silver zogan, holding a box whilst a rat scampers over his head, signed Yukihiro with kao, 4.5cm (1¾in); the second with a lion-mask performer in relief, details in gold, silver and copper zogan, possibly signed Tenmin with kao, 4.5cm (1¾in); the third with Kinko riding on a giant carp, details in gold, copper and shakudo zogan, unsigned, 4.8cm (1 7/8in).
