The first carved and pierced with various fish swimming among aquatic plants, unsigned, 3.8cm (1½in); the second similarly carved with a squirrel on a grape vine, unsigned, 3.8cm (1½in); the third of two-part form, carved with foliage, the reverse with a formal flowerhead, unsigned, 4.2cm (1 5/8in); the fourth carved and pierced with a tennyo (Buddhist angel) holding a lotus stalk among lotus plants, unsigned, 4.2cm (1 5/8in); the fifth carved with formal designs around a formal kiku bloom on one side and foliage and branches on the reverse, unsigned, 3.8cm (1½in).
