A builder's half model of the S.S. Staghound
Ailsa Shipbuilding Co., Troon, Scotland; circa 1894

built up hull, painted with a white bottom, pink waterline, black topsides, mahogany waist band and cap rail, propeller, draft markings, faux ivory decks with the planking lines drawn in, stump masts, hatches, ladders, German silver stanchions and railings, bridge wing, funnel, ventilator, boat on davits, displayed within a mahogany case.
56 x 5-1/4 x 13-1/2 in. (142.2 x 13.3 x 34.2 cm.) cased.
