A large copper tsuba

Attributed to Funada Ikkin, after Tsuchiya Yasuchika, 19th century
Of almost circular form, mounted with a shakudo mimi, bearing an ishime ground, carved and inlaid with a broken wheel, mantis and creeper, in gold, silver, copper and shakudo takazogan, signed motte Yasuchika no zu, Ikkin with kao. 8.5cm (3 3/8in).
