A lacquer four-case inro

By Jitokusai Gyokuzan, 19th century
The roiro ground with mura-nashiji and sparsely sprinkled with gold dust, lacquered in gold and red togidashi with a continuous design of Autumn plants, the interior of nashiji, signed Jitokusai Gyokuzan with kao; with ribbed-tsuishu ojime splashed with gold and black lacquer, unsigned. 8.2cm (3¼in).
