A dark shibuichi tsuba

Hamano School, 19th century
Of oval form, carved in shishiaibori and engraved with a nightwatchman patrolling beside a stand of cryptomeria trees in a rain storm, slight details in gold and shakudo takazogan, signed Masayuki. 7.3cm (2 7/8in).
