Seated, its forepaws resting on a large egg from which its cub hatches, its curly tail rising to join its mane at the back and a loose ball in its open mouth, the typically-stained wood slightly worn and the eyes inlaid with pale translucent horn, signed Toyomasa. 4.2cm (1 5/8in).
