A Meissen figure of Janus, circa 1760
Modelled as a young man with a laurel wreath, with the face of a bearded man on the reverse wearing a gilt crown, wearing a gilt-edged white cloak, white tunic with gilt leaves and dots and purple belts and yellow shoes, on a square flat base, 12.4cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear of base (both hands restored)
