A pair of Meissen yellow-ground coffee cups and saucers, circa 1740
Each painted with European landscape scenes, on each side of the cups reserved within a gilt-edged cartouche, on the saucer within a similar cartouche embellished with puce scrollwork, panels and flower swags, the handles embellished in gilding, gilt-edged rims, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, gilt D. to all, impressed numerals (4)
