A Meissen group emblematic of Water, circa 1745
Modelled by J.J. Kaendler, as a nymph scantily clad in blue drapery leaning on a gilt-edged urn from which water gushes, over her left shoulder a putto holding an eel basket under his left arm, a duck grazing on either side, the base applied with lily-leaves, 14.5cm high, traces of crossed swords mark in blue (restored and damaged)
