A Meissen armorial two-handled ecuelle, cover and stand, circa 1735

Painted in Kakiemon style with banded hedges and scattered flower sprigs, a coat of arms on the cover, surmounted by a dragon finial, the scroll handles heightened in gilding, brown-edged rims, the stand: 18.3cm diam., crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue (finial restuck) (3)
