Four German faience pewter-mounted tankards, second half 18th century

One painted in blue with rectangular panels enclosing flowers, the second, Thuringian, decorated in polychrome enamels with shaped panels enclosing trees against a powdered purple ground reserved with flowerheads, the third with a panel depicting Harlequin in a landscape reserved on a powdered purple ground, reserved with a panel below the handle inscribed '½ KAN/ S', the fourth painted with a flower spray in green, blue, yellow and manganese, flanked by flower sprigs, 16.2cm-23cm, the second marked in manganese 'F/H', the fourth incised 16 (the fourth tankard cracked, typical minor glaze wear overall) (4)
