A Faenza albarello, circa 1560-70
Of slightly waisted cylindrical shape, the central band a quartieri with leaf and grotesque ornament on blue and orange grounds, reserving a circular panel painted with a portrait of a bearded man in a turban, titled 'ABRAM', between other formal leaf and scrollwork bands, the drug label below inscribed 'Aetto:de.succo', 27.5cm high (restored)
