A large signed Castelli-style maiolica plaque, late 19th century
Painted by H. Perrichon, with a scene of Minerva and Mercury arming Perseus after Bartholomeus Spranger, inscribed at the base 'Quid tibi vult Perseus s sibi quid Cilenius s addit Alanon pedibus pear,tegit ense lautus Dia quin hic Pallas s dat munera singuila Quaenam Aegon Quid s ad Gorgonis ora volet.', in its original wooden frame, 65cm x 45cm excluding frame (restored sections at bottom, minor typical crazing)
