A finely-mounted shin-shinto o-tanto

The blade of hira-zuri form, medium sugu-ba of nioi and nie, tight itame, the ubu nakago with sujikai yasuri and one mekugi-ana, signed Hishu no kuni Masahiro; koshirae: the saya of roiro lacquer with sparse silver mura-nashiji; the fittings of shakudo nanako, inlaid in gold takazogan with flying ho-o birds and kiri-mon, the kozuka and kogai signed Ikkansai Masa[...].
The blade 34.5cm (13 5/8in) long.
