Four various ojime
One by Shibayama, Late 19th century
Three of ivory; one lacquered and inlaid with a large spider on foliage, unsigned; one carved and inlaid with chidori flying over breaking waves, signed Shibayama and one in the form of a human skull, unsigned; the fourth of lacquer, in the form of a clam, decorated with a mountain landscape in gold takamakie, unsigned.
1.8cm (¾in) to 3.2cm (1¼in). (4).
