Seven various netsuke
Early to late 19th century
Comprising: an ivory netsuke of Toba riding on his prancing mule, unsigned, 4.8cm (1 7/8in); another of Hotei with two children, signed Masamitsu, 3.8cm (1½in); a manju carved with a dragon amid clouds, unsigned, 4.5cm (1¾in); an okimono-style netsuke of the 'Seven Gods of Good Fortune', signed Ryukosai, 4.6cm (1¾in); a wood netsuke of rats on a pumpkin, signed illegibly, 5.1cm (2in); a lacquered-wood netsuke of a dancing man holding a fan, unsigned, 5.3cm (2 1/8in); and a stag-antler netsuke of Daikoku, unsigned, 5.3cm (2 1/8in).
