An ivory netsuke of snail and nuts
By Gyokuhosai, Edo Period, 19th century
Comprising several nuts, two with interior landscapes carved in anabori, and an acorn, forming a compact cluster with a snail slithering over the top and two large leaves beneath, attached to a stalk which forms the himotoshi, signed Gyokuhosai.
