A one piece hachi
Mid to late Edo Period, 18th/19th century
A russet iron bowl forged as one piece, the outside overlaid by a tehen kanamono, four large shinodare and groups of spikes round the top of the bowl. To the front a broad shaped mabisashi is riveted on and to the rear the top plate of a shikoro with broad fukigaeshi.
