By Naganori, 16th century
The slender blade of shinogi-zukuri form, narrow notare-ha of nioi, faint itame-hada, the ubu-nakago with one mekugi-ana, signed Naganori; koshirae: the saya of black ishime lacquer; the shibuichi tsuba of mokko form, inlaid with a lobster, plum blossom and ferns; the Awa fuchi-gashira with an inlaid gold rinzu design; the fine gilt menuki of a pine cone and needle. The blade 57.8cm (22¾in) long.
