A collection of assorted hair accessories

Late 19th/early 20th century
Comprising twenty-five kanzashi (hair pins) of various materials including glass, gold lacquer, lacquered-wood, inlaid and silvered-metal and horn, two ichidome, sixteen kogai or nobebou, thirty-nine kushi (combs), six signed respectively, Hoitsu hitsu, Seisen Morimitsu after a design by Kano Sosen, Ryosai, Yoyusai, Hosai and Kakosai saku; the majority embellished with different designs, all contained in a plain black-lacquered kodansu. (83).
