The William P. Frye was an American ship active between 1901-1915. Built by Arthur Sewall and Company in Bath, ME and owned by Arthur Sewall and Company of Bath, she had principal dimensions of 332ft LOA x 45ft beam x 26ft draft and weighing 2,998 tons. The William P. Frye was the first American ship to be sunk by the German forces in World War One.
