The diorama depicts the HMS "Victory" with the 36-gun frigate HMS "Euryalus", on October 21, 185, during a rendezvous off Cadiz on the southwestern tip of Spain on the morning of the battle of Trafalgar. The crew of "Euryalus" is shown rowing their captain, Henry Blackwood, to a meeting with Lord Nelson on board the "Victory".
