Ming Dynasty
The recumbent mythical beast carved with its head turned towards its tail flicked over the back, the head with bulging eyes below the pronounced eyebrows with zigzag lines and the horn resting between the ears, the front paws joined, the stone of yellowish-green tone with earth-red and russet inclusions. 6.2cm (2½in) wide
