A wood netsuke of a fisherman on shell

By Tomokazu, 19th century
The man crouching on the huge clam and struggling to extricate his loin cloth which is caught in the jaws of the shell, the wood slightly worn and of a good colour, inscribed in an oval reserve Tomokazu. 4.2cm (1 5/8in).
