Mid-late Edo Period, 18th/19th century
The thirty-two-plate za boshi kabuto in russet iron mounted with a six-stage tehen kanamono and kosho-no-kan, to the front a kuwagata dai and kuwagata and fitted with a ko manju jikoro. Russet iron menpo with a hair moustache, the do of two pieces with matching kusazuri, ko sode russet iron Oda gote, russet lacquered kawara haidate and shino suneate. The armour constructed with black lacquered kiritsuke kozane and laced overall in alternate horizontal bands of red and blue kebiki odoshi. Together with a fan, an armour box and wood stand.
